The Amercan Curl, comes both as a shorthair and a longhair. Its most distinctive feature however, are its curled back ears giving its name. It is very energetic and playful, always around and socializing. They are also rather talkative, always chirping and meowing. An interesting fact about the American Curl, is that it isn't born with culed back ears, it actually is born with straight ears that start to curl after 3-5 days, eventually staying at around 16 weeks.
